Futures Contract in financial is a contract standardization traded at futures exchange. Futures contract is a derivative instrument used for buy or sell assets of financial instruments at a specific date in the future with a certain price.

Specific date in the future is called delivery date. Certain price called as futures price. Price of the asset at delivery date is called settlement price.
